NOTA DEL BLOG::::

 

Hieronimus Bosch, nasce a Hertogenbosch in Olanda, nel 1453 e muore lì nel 1516… per cui si può considerare un contemporaneao di Matthias Grunewald, tedesco (1470-1528)–forse hanno in comune il periodo storico vissuto. Siccome era costume che un pittore facesse l’apprendistato fuori dalla sua città, si presume che Grunewald abbia potuto andare a Bonn dove, nel Duomo, avrebbe trovato due opere di Bosch ora perdute.
